1965: The Beatles finished recording "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)" and began work on John Lennon's "Nowhere Man" at Abbey Road Studios. Listen to Take 1 here​
1970: Bob Dylan released New Morning, his eleventh studio album that marked a return to his familiar nasal voice and warmer reception from fans after the controversial Self Portrait. New Morning dawns​
1972: Chuck Berry went to #1 with "My Ding-a-Ling," a novelty song that became his first and only US and UK chart-topper — 17 years after his classic rock hits. Watch it live​
1976: Keith Moon played his final show with The Who at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, closing their North American tour. Moon would die less than two years later. Won't Get Fooled​
1977: Meat Loaf released Bat Out of Hell, the landmark album that would eventually sell over 43 million copies worldwide and become 14x Platinum. Epic performance​
