1964The Beach Boys made their British TV debut on ITV's Ready Steady Go!, performing "I Get Around" and "When I Grow Up (to Be a Man)." This marked the beginning of the band's international success in the UK. Watch them perform

1965Bill Graham organized his first concert event at San Francisco's Calliope Warehouse, a benefit for the San Francisco Mime Troupe featuring Jefferson Airplane. This marked the beginning of Graham's legendary career as a rock promoter. Learn more
