  • 1967: Pink Floyd embarks on their first UK tour, opening for the Jimi Hendrix Experience at London’s Royal Albert Hall, a historic double bill for psychedelic rock fans.​

  • 1967: A package tour with Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Move, The Nice, and Amen Corner kicks off, with multiple acts performing two shows per night.​

  • 1969: Led Zeppelin begins recording sessions for their third album, laying down "Since I've Been Loving You" at Olympic Studios in London.​

  • 1969: The Allman Brothers Band plays Boston Common, helping to spread Southern rock up the East Coast.​
