1960: Ray Charles hits #1 in the U.S. with "Georgia On My Mind," marking his first chart-topping single.
1961: The Everly Brothers record the song "Crying In The Rain," which would become a classic hit.
1962: The Beatles play their final show of a fourteen-night residency at the Star-Club in Hamburg, Germany, capping one of the band's formative engagements before international fame.
1964: The Supremes hold the #1 spot in the U.S. singles chart for a third consecutive week with "Baby Love".
1967: Pink Floyd embarks on their first UK tour, opening for the Jimi Hendrix Experience at London’s Royal Albert Hall, a historic double bill for psychedelic rock fans.
1967: A package tour with Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Move, The Nice, and Amen Corner kicks off, with multiple acts performing two shows per night.
1969: Led Zeppelin begins recording sessions for their third album, laying down "Since I've Been Loving You" at Olympic Studios in London.
